Frank Peddle March 4, 1942 - January 9, 2024

Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024, Frank David Peddle of Port Blandford, age 81 years.  He is predeceased by his wife Ida, daughters Jackilyn, Lori George, son-in-law Stephen Chatman, and parents Andrew and Effie.  Left to mourn his sons Larry and Carson (Trina); son-in-law Wince George; grandchildren Christina Greening (Matthew), Rebecca Seward (Nicole), Grant Chatman (Kaitlyn), Chloe Peddle, Colby Peddle, and step grandson Jason George (Kala); great grandchildren Caden, Daniel, and Rebecca; brother Lloyd; sisters Sally (Allan), Ruth (Boyd), and Ann.  Also leaving to mourn several siblings-in-law and a large circle of family and friends.  He will also be dearly missed by the staff and residents of the Clarenville Retirement Centre.

For those of us that had the privilege to call Frank a Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Friend, or “Poppy Frank” we will never forget his kindness, love, and sense of humor.  He was passionate about playing cards and he was often heard saying, “let me skunk you in a game of crib.”  A generous, thoughtful, and gracious man, he loved his family unconditionally, and he showed them every day how much they meant to him.

Resting at St. Aidan’s Anglican Church in Port Blandford.  Visitation Friday, January 12, 2024, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral Service will take place Saturday, January 13, 2023, 2 p.m. with interment at the Anglican Cemetery.

Funeral Service will take place Saturday, January 13, 2023, 2 p.m. with interment at the Anglican Cemetery.
