With deep regret we announce the passing of our dear mother, Evelyn Keats of Lethbridge on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville at the age of 99 years and 9 months. Predeceased by her husband Bruce; sisters Ella Greening (Lloyd), Florence Reader (Lloyd), Dora Strowbridge (John). Left with fond and loving memories her children Doreen Butt (John), Jean Legge (Late Albert), Bernice Peddle (Leslie), Wayne (Myra), Wayde (Late Marina), Gloria Squires (Kirk); 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; sisters Linda Lethbridge (Late Burke), Susie Sipos (Late Joe), Myrtis Holloway (Late Harry) and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Lethbridge on Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM. and Friday, July 30 from 10 a.m. to Noon. Funeral Service will be 2 PM on Friday, July 30, 2021 at the Memorial United Church, Lethbridge with interment at United Cemetery, Lethbridge. In her memory donations gratefully accepted to Memorial United Church, Lethbridge. No flowers or scent products by request due to severe allergies.
“She was an outstanding lady who was very involved with community and church. After our dad died at an early age, she raised us and made sure we all received a good education. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren and always kept close ties with each other.”
