Elizabeth Drover October 8, 1935 - March 19, 2022

Passed peacefully away at Hilltop Manor, Arnold’s Cove on Saturday, March 19, 2022 Elizabeth Julia Drover of Sunnyside in her 86th year.  Predeceased by her parents, George and Gladys Temple; husband Cecil Drover Sr.; sons Wade (Alma), Larry, Phil; parents in law Mary Jane and Moses Drover; brothers Leo (Myrtle), Philip (Clara); sister in law Maude; sister Alma (Charl). Left with fond and loving memories her children, Cecil, Joy, Sherry (Philip);  Grandchildren, Amanda, Melissa (Paul), Tyrel, Samantha (Bryan), Cara (Alex), Andrew (Kim), Ashley (Colton), step granddaughter Janet (Nathan); great grandchildren, Brody, Alianna, Madison, Natalie, Alex; step great grandchildren, Layah, Noah; sister, Bride (Roy); brother, Jack (Geraldine); and a large circle of family  and friends.  Resting at the Anglican Church in Sunnyside on Monday, March 21, 2022 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. and  Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.  Funeral service to take place  from the Anglican Church, Sunnyside on  Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 2:00 P.M.  With interment to follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery, Sunnyside.  The family would prefer masks to be worn at the visitations and the funeral.

Remembering a strong and beloved woman, our mom, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her soul and spirit may be gone above to her heavenly father, but her love and memories are with us in our hearts.  As mom would say “goodnight and God bless, until we meet again.”

A special thank you to the staff at Hilltop Manor, Arnold’s Cove, to Fewer’s paramedics and the  doctors and nurses at Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital.  Also, a special thanks to Frank Warren for his visits and prayers.

    cecil joy and sherry, so sorry to hear of aunt lizzies passing what a strong and caring lady i grew up spending a good many hours at her house as well as meals with everybody hugs and prayers to everybody and know that my heart is with you at this difficult time

    Drover family Amanda & Brody ,Melissa Paul & Alex TJ all family members so sorry to hear about your Nan Drover abd more than a Nan A lovely mother and Grandmother also Much more A beautiful person I have heard and I could see she was one of the sweetest ladies I know of .Fod love her she is at peace now no more pain or discomfort.She we’ll be missed by all.Rest in peace Mrs Drover you well always be loved and remembered .

    Cec, Sherry, Joy, Amanda, Brody, Melissa , Paul, Alex Tyrel, and all of the family, we are so sorry for the loss of your mom, Nan , and great grandmother Mrs drover. Hold your memories close. Heaven has gained another angel and she’s watching over you all. We are thinking about you all at this time. Hugs to you all, she will be missed by all who knew her.
