February 7, 2020 at 12:56 pmMy dearest Aunt Betty, it’s hard to believe that your gone. My memories of you and Uncle Sterling coming to visit us in Corner Brook and Uncle Sterling always requesting that I play my organ. Living so far away from Newfoundland it’s always difficult to see everyone when we visit and being on Two different coasts made it more challenging. I was greatful that I did get a chance to see you again 4 1/2 years ago and I was honoured accept the precious gift you gave me a few years ago..I will cherish it always. I pray that you are at peace..and your in the arms of not only your sweetheart but the rest of your siblings. Say Hi to them for me.. until we meet again my darling Angel..I will miss you and love you Always.

February 8, 2020 at 10:12 amTo Betty’s family, loved ones and friends:
My husband, Roy and I sat behind Betty at St. Andrew’s Anglican church, Brooklyn. I so looked forward to seeing her there and having a lovely conversation.
I remember when we first met Betty and how welcoming she was to us. I will miss seeing her beautiful smile, hearing her sing and her gentle presence in church.
We should all emulate who Betty was through her kindness, gentle soul and welcoming heart. We were blessed to have met her.
Roy and I send our sympathies to you all and know she will always be with you in the beautiful memories you shared.
Heartfelt condolences,
Sherry Wall-Russell and Roy Russell
