Passed peacefully away at Golden Heights Manor, Bonavista on Thursday, December 9, 2021, Eileen Snow Squires of Summerville, age 94 years. Predeceased by husbands Raymond Snow and William Squires; son-in-law Edward Galway; parents Joseph and Bridget Newell; siblings Marion, Robert, Peter, William, Thomas, Joseph, Felix and Maurice. Left with fond and loving memories her children Madeline, Lou (Liz), Josie, Jerome, Pius (Suzette), Geraldine, Pauline (Craig) and Terry; grandchildren Scott, Ken, Kerry, Shannon, Angie, Lee, Terry, Jenny, Courtney, Shane and Justin; 13 great grandchildren; and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at the Roman Catholic Church, Summerville on Tuesday, December 14 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the Roman Catholic Church, Summerville with interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Summerville. Funeral will be by invitation only.

December 11, 2021 at 2:04 pmPauline, Madeline, Lou, Josie, Terry, Jerome, Pius, and Geraldine and your families, so very sorry to hear of Aunt Eileen’s passing. She lived such a full life and enjoyed playing her accordian the same as Dad.
She will be missed dearly, but she is with all her siblings and Nan and Pop now. God Bless and my deepest sympathy to you all.
