January 31, 2023 at 10:56 pmTo the Penneys, we are thinking of you during this time. I am sadden yet I know Ed lived his life to the fullest and always with a smile and happy to share great lessons and stories. I have fond memories of meeting Ed and his family in Toronto. I enjoyed visiting him and Sylvia when they retired back home in Newfoundland. We had a toast with Screech rum and I received my NFLD Screechers Certificate, and we walked the beach to play with Capelins. I remember Ed jogging and enjoying mowing his acres of land on the hill. With fond memories, Rick and I will enjoy some Screech in your honour. Right now! Cheers, love, and peace be with you.

February 7, 2023 at 2:46 pmWe just finished watching Ed’s funeral. Thank goodness for modern technology as we were able to be a part of it even though we could not be there in person. I cried and laughed throughout the service, especially after the moose story. Thank you Brian for sharing that with us. I truly miss all of you and I hope we can come together again under happier circumstances. Ed was a wonderful person and we were all blessed to have him in our lives.
