It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Eddie Holloway of Lethbridge aged 69 years on November 12, 2024 at GB Cross Memorial Hospital after a brief battle with cancer.
Predeceased by his wife, Verna; father, Harry; sister, Donna; parents in law Willis & Elsie Simmonds. Left with fond and loving memories his son, Michael; mother Myrtis; sister Yvonne
(Lawrence); brothers, Glenn, Graham, Barry; brother in law, Doug; special friend Janice; and a very large circle of family and friends. Visitation will be held at Fewer’s Funeral Home in Lethbridge on Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. and Friday, November 15, 2024 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. United Church Portland with interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery Portland.
Eddie was a business man and made his living as a truck driver. He met a lot of people over the years with many of them turning into close buddies and friends. Eddie was the type of person to always lend a hand, to help out in whatever way possible. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
