September 18, 2020 at 6:10 pmYour impact on my life will never go unnoticed. You made me the woman I am by pushing me to be not only as educated as I could be, but also by showing me no matter what life threw my way, I could handle it. You gave me light when I was I’m a dark place, and an outlet of my education to lead me to all the best places in life. You will never understand your impact, I can never thank you enough. You were not only my teacher, but my mentor. I’ll forever be grateful to have had you in my life.

September 18, 2020 at 8:02 pmHeart-felt, deep condolences to all of Colleen’s family. We understand all too well the deep shock and terrible sadness that you are experiencing. I knew her only slightly and found her to be a fun, kind, down-to-earth and friendly person with a good heart. Reilly was a classmate of my son Ben’s. This is rough – take your time. Best wishes, Michelle Funk and sons Alex, Ben and Tim

September 19, 2020 at 9:43 amTo the Hodder/Abbott family, thinking of you in the days ahead. She was a jewel of a person, a teacher that I was so glad to see even years after graduating high-school. She had a calling on her life to educate and even befriend those she taught. Her presence will be missed in our world, but her kind, funny, yet no-nonsense ways will forever have a place in our hearts, because it’s people like her that leave impressions on what shapes us to want to be fun, silly and enjoy the life we have been given. Thanks Colleen! You were a gem of a teacher and friend when a girl needed direction.
