Passed peacefully away at the G.B Cross Memorial Hospital, on Friday, June 19, 2026, Chesley Calvin Greening of Musgravetown, aged 79 years.
Predeceased by his parents, Chesley and Elsie (Cuff) Greening; parents in law Augustus and Augusta Ruth of Summerside; brothers David and Toby; sister Linda; brothers in law Vernon Wiseman and Leo Byrne; sister in law Beulah (Stan Broderick).
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife of 57 years, Myra; sons Garland (Natasha) Rennie, and Keith (Rochelle); grandchildren Sebastian (Megan), Jeremy, Justin, Judah and Brock; great-grandson Chesley; sisters Violet (John-Trouern Trend) and Nettie Wiseman; sisters-in-law Effie, Joan, Doreen (Frank Payne) and Laverne Byrne; brother in law Mack; special friends Edgar and Gloria; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Lethbridge on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Heritage United Church, Musgravetown with interment to follow at the United Cemetery, Musgravetown.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Chesley’s memory may be made to Heritage United Church, Musgravetown, or the Musgravetown Fire Department.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Doctors and Nurses who cared for him at Dr. G B Cross Hospital during his time there.
