It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a dear husband, father, grandfather, uncle and good friend at the G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Monday, June 28,2021 at the age of 66.  Predeceased by his father and mother Andrew & Clarice Hobbs and step father Albert Chatman.  Leaving to mourn are his wife Beverley of 46 years, two sons Darrin (Dana), Christopher (Danielle); his grandchildren Daniel, Devin, Jared, Taylen, Jenna & Ryia; his “Darlin Pussy cat” Mittens.  Also leaving to mourn his brothers Hubert (Irene), Harvey (Marjorie), Carter (Lillian),Rudy (Marilyn), Micheal (Kim), Sisters Edith (Allan), Judy (Roger); his father and mother in law Frank & Shirley Warfield, brother in laws Leonard (Beverley), Carl (Cindy), Jeff (Deanne) and sister in law Brenda (Tony). Also his nephews and nieces and a large circle of family and friends.

Anyone who knew Brian knew he was a fighter. He carried his heart on his sleeve. He dearly loved to see his family and friends coming. His grandchildren were the light of his life. Brian had an infectious smile and always chose to see the positives in life, even as he struggled with medical issues himself.  He was a fighter until the end. We will always remember the sense of calm and peace his beautiful soul brought into this world and the lessons he taught us with his love, courage and optimistic outlook.  His candle went out, but his light will live on. He will be forever loved and missed.

Thank you to the many doctors, nurses, and homecare workers who provided exceptional care and compassion to our beloved husband, father and grandfather.  Special thanks to homecare workers Danielle & Brandi.
