Alice Humby June 7, 1947 - September 11, 2020

On September 11, 2020, Alice (Ayles) Humby of Summerville, Bonavista Bay, NL, passed away after her long fight with cancer.

She was born to Michael and Margaret Ayles on June 7, 1947 in Summerville.  She was married to Harold Humby of Summerville in 1967 and they have been together for almost 53 years.  She was predeceased by her son Scott, of Summerville, NL in 2006.  She is survived by 3 sons and their wives: Roger and Maureen of Whitecourt, AB; Cory and Tara of Conception Bay South, NL; and Albert of Summerville, NL.  She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren. Aaron and Noah of Whitecourt, AB, Asia and Reid of Conception Bay South, NL, and Chloe and Bryanna of Clarenville, NL.  She was predeceased by her Brother John (Mary), Gerald (Marcella), Kate, Donald, and Trudy (Jerry).  Left to mourn are Thomas (Lorraine), Johanna (Bill deceased), Mary (Frank deceased), Madonna (Vincent deceased), Albert (Maureen), and Josephine (James); sister-in-law Dolores (Harvey) and brother-in-law Clyde (Marie).

Alice was one of those rare people that come into your life and make you feel valuable and loved. She had family and friends across Canada and into the US, and she touched the lives of all of them tremendously. No one was immune from her charming, fun-loving manners and her love of people. We have so many wonderful memories, that sharing them all would be impossible.  We are blessed to have such a large extended family, and all grieve her passing.

As per her request, there will be a simple memorial in her honor and in lieu of flowers, simply visit and share a story, laugh, or just a happy memory of her.
