Albert Brown July 6, 1948 - December 3, 2024

Passed peacefully away at his home in the early afternoon of December 3, 2024, Albert Stephen Brown of St. Jones Within aged 76 years. Predeceased by his parents, Chesley and Ida Brown; sister, Lillian Williams; brothers, Lloyd Brown and Wince Brown; nephew, Rodney Greening; sister-in-law, Denise Brown.  Left with fond and loving memories his children, Mark (Niki) Brown, Tony Brown; granddaughter Leah Brown; sisters, Joyce (Ray) Greening, Nellie (Paul) Savage, Blanche (Silas) Rodgers; sisters-in-law, Sylvia Brown, and Mona Brown; brothers, Geroge (Dallas) Brown, Jim (Selina) Brown, Ralph (Christine) Brown, Egdar Brown; and a large circle of family and friends.  As per his wishes cremation has taken place. Resting at Grace United Church, St. Jones Within.  Visitation will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024 from 3-8 P.M. Funeral service to take place from Grace United Church, St. Jones Within on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. Internment to take place at a later date.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Daffodil Place.

    Thinking of all of you at this difficult time. He gave all of us so many wonderful memories. No one will ever be able to make us laugh the way he did when he would tell his stories. He was a wonderful man and one of the truest friends anyone could ask for. He will be forever missed.

    We are so saddened to hear of Al’s passing. He has always been a true friend and a piece of my heart will go with him. I have so many wonderful memories to cherish. Until we meet again my dear friend.

    I send my sincere condolences to Albert’s family. I have many fond memories of Albert from when I was growing up in the 70’s. Unfortunately never saw him much afterwards because I was living away but I’m glad I got to see him again a few years ago when I was home. Like all of my mom’s first cousins on the Brown side, he always had that Big Brown Smile! And that funny side like my grandmother. May you Rest in Peace Albert.
