Agnes Branton December 25, 1963 - January 17, 2023

It is with great sadness that the family of Agnes Branton announce her passing on January 17th, 2023. After a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will strive to honor her memory. Loving mother and sister passed away at Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville, at the age of 59 years young. Agnes is predeceased by her parents, Mildred and Maynard Boutcher. Agnes is survived by her former husband and father, Ted Branton, of their children Charlene Branton, and Tj Branton (Jennine). Grandchildren Kendall, Ella, and her siblings Adina Hickey (Nelson), Robert Boutcher, Roxanne Boutcher, and Eva Newman. Along with her nieces and nephews, Mitchell, Carter, Daniel, Theresa, Tara, Dawyne, and Terry.  She is also, survived by a large circle of close family and friends that are too numerous to mention, but you were all loved dearly by Agnes.

Agnes loved yellows flowers and horses. If you look up the meaning behind yellow flowers, it will tell you that it associated with spreading happiness, joy, and the symbol for friendship. No wonder why Agnes loved yellow flowers, she was outgoing, lighthearted, and loved the simple things in life. Every time you walked into a room, Agnes was the life of the party, she brought happiness and joy to every room and event she attended. She was always someone who loved to help those in need and would do anything for her friends and family, but we don’t have to tell you that!

The Black Stallion horse is a spirit animal, and it represents strength and passion, it will carry you through the most difficult of times. Agnes has the spirit of a black stallion because she is one of the strongest women we know. Through her own battle she was the first to help carry anyone through a difficult time.

Agnes will be missed dearly by her loving family and friend; she will always be in our hearts. We are sad to let go but it’s time now for Agnes to celebrate her after life with all her family and friends.

We are sincerely grateful to the many families and friends who have given us support and comfort during this hard time.
