So sad to hear of your dads passing. I have so many fond memories of your dad. He had a fabulous sense of humour and was always eager to help others. He was a great neighbour and I always loved to hear his stories. His love and dedication to your mom was amazing. He never missed an opportunity to talk about you which was his pride and joy. Many times a meal of fresh fish or a bag of berries would end up on my steps and it was always from your dad. Sending kind thoughts and hope all the memories you shared together helps you through this difficult time..

Corey, we are so sorry for your loss.
The Adams, Lockyer and Warren families lost a large bridge to our past; he was very passionate about our heritage on the islands in Placentia Bay and took great pleasure in telling our stories and showing pictures or showing his collection, especially ‘old man jug’. I have many great memories of our time together in our younger years; we were referred to as brothers, wherever Wes was going, George was sure to follow. Like all island boys we loved to throw rocks. One day my aim was off and I broke the window in John Foot’s stage. Wes took a hold of my arm and said, ‘you are not my brother or cousin, I am your uncle and you are going to report it and you are going to fix it’, which I did with Grandfather’s help.
A couple of years ago, I was visiting in his shed and he brought up the story and said, “I got you your start in the window business”, we had a great laugh.
A dedicated husband, a loving and proud father, brother, uncle, great and great great uncle to many.
    There was no easy day.
    Rest in Peace Uncle Wes.

Corey, we were greatly saddened to hear of Uncle Wes’ passing. Our heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family in this time of great loss. I have a lot of childhood memories of packing up and crossing the island to visit” back home”. Always a highlight of those trips were listening to Uncle Wes tell his stories of great adventures of when he was a young fellow himself. The world is a lesser place without him here. He will truly be missed. Dave son of Jenny Maude.

Cory, our condolences on the passing of your dad. Uncle West always made me laugh and I still remember when he walked with Linda and I out to the trail head to see the Comeby Chance Oil refinery. It was a great day that we will always remember ❤. Thinking about you at this somber time.

Corey, I was so sad to hear your dad had passed away. Every time I seen him drive by he had a wave and a huge smile and if it was not driving by, he had a big hug for me and then we would have great chat. He was always so pleasant and spoke so highly of your mom and you. Please know that you are in my thoughts and I am sure you have many beautiful memories to keep him alive in your heart.
