Passed peacefully away at her home on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, Vera Stanley of Clarenville, age 82 years.
Predeceased by parents Matilda and Herbert Blundon; father Herbert Pelley; parents-in-law Bessie and George Stanley; sons Lester and Whitfield; brother Pearce Blundon (Donna).
Left with fond and loving memories her husband Charles of 67 years; children Louise (Jerry), Christine (Doug), Carolyn, Trudy (Scott) and Belinda (Rick); son-in-law Harold Moore; grandchildren Charlie, Andera, Stephanie, Courtney, Stacey, Andrew, Eden, Dylan, Cassie, Jordan and April; great grandchildren Preston, Jordan, Daniel, James, Ryan, Devon, Robert, Alex, Kailey, Brooke, Maddison, Noah, Layla, Audrey and Jacob; sister Violet Parsons (David); and a large circle of family and friends.
Cremation has take place. Visitation Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Fewer’s Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2025 at Fewer’s Memorial Chapel, Clarenville.
In her memory donations may be made to Canadian Mental Health Association, Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter.
