Passed away peacefully at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Monday, September 29, 2025, Ruby Matilda “Tilly” Warren of Arnold’s Cove, age 94 years.
Predeceased by her husband Charles; daughter Vera Blanche; brothers Joseph (Addie) and Ben (Rita); sisters Liz (Bill), Rose (Richard) and Hattie (Frank).
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons Hubert, Neil and Ted (Teina); daughters Betty (Terry), Marie (Harvey), Maude, Anna (Fred), Doris (Ron) and Dena (Warren); beloved grandchildren Juanita (Leo), Vanessa (Paddy), Jennifer (Todd), Warren, Jeremy, April and Sami; treasured great grandson Liam; grand fur babies Molly and Scout; and a large circle of family and friends.
Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Arnold’s Cove. Visitation for the family is 2-4 p.m. and the public from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 2, 2025 at St. Michael’s and All Angels Anglican Church, Arnold’s Cove with interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery, Arnold’s Cove.
In her memory donations may be made to St. Michael’s All Angels Anglican Church, Arnold’s Cove.
Thanks to the Hilltop Manor for their wonderful care and kindness to mom and all us children. We appreciate you all so very much. Thanks to the Arnold’s Cove pharmacy and Fewer’s Funeral Home for their compassion and guidance. Special thank you to mom’s friend and roommate Rowena Hapgood, for you kind and caring heart.
Rest in Peace Mom/Nanny. Reunited with the true love of your life at last. We will miss you and love you forever!
