Sybil B. Curtis March 27, 1940 - March 10, 2023

Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s on Friday, March 10, 2023, Sybil B. Curtis of Clarenville, age 82 years.  Predeceased by her brothers David Curtis and Clayton Curtis.  Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children Beverly Pike (Charles) and Curtis Skiffington (Trudy); grandchildren Blair (Sharon), Melissa (Chris), Kylie (Graham) and Brett (Paige); great grandchildren Isabella, Nicholas, Thomas, Kodi, Alexander and Reese; and a large circle of relatives and friends.  Funeral service to take place July 8, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. from the United Church in Portland, with interment to follow from the United Church Cemetery Portland.  In her memory, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.

    I remember Sybil from my childhood, I grew up next door to this wonderful, sweet lady in Bloomfield.
