February 11, 2022 at 6:40 pmDoug, Scott, Elaine and family. We are deeply saddened by Shirley’s passing. We’ve been neighbours at Thorburn Lake for 30 plus years and couldn’t have asked for any better. Shirley enjoyed life, always ready for a bit of fun, a get together and especially a game of cards. There was never a dull moment when she was around. We will miss you Shirley and thanks for the 30 plus years of great memories. Chris and Arlette Reid

So very sorry to hear of Shirley’s passing. She took me under her wing when I first moved to Clarenville and then she was Craig’s sitter when I returned to work. She was one of the nicest, most sincere, kind person I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. This is a very sad time for you and there is really nothing that can be said to erase that sadness. Only time and keeping all the precious memories alive will help. RIP lovely lady
