Ronald Holloway July 30, 1932 - September 30, 2023

Passed peacefully away on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville, Ronald Victor Holloway of Port Blandford aged 91 years.  Predeceased by his parents, William and Grace Holloway; wife, Edith; son, Gary; step-daughter, Wanda Dooley; sisters, Elsie, Beatrice, Jane, Alice, Hettie; brothers, Sandy, William Arthur, Frank, Lawrence, and Steve.  Left to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Hilda. His son, Victor (Darlene); daughters, Juanita Holloway, Denise (Jack) Furlong, Wanda (Dave) Peddle, Sandra (Truman) Brown; step-children, Graham (Haley) Pynn, Cecil Pynn, Valerie (Rodney) Smith; 9 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 2 step-great grandchildren; and a large circle of family and friends.  Resting at the Anglican Church, Port Blandford on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from the Anglican Church in Port Blandford at 2:00 P.M. Interment to follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery, Port Blandford.  Flowers accepted or donations may be made in his memory to the Anglican Church Port Blandford.

      I have fond memories of Ron during his time as caretaker at Clarenville High School while I was teaching there. We had many good chats about a variety of things. Always enjoyed his company. Condolences to all his family.

      Sorry to hear of Ron’s Passing.He was stationed out of the engineering office in Buchans for the Surface Dept.Carried Surveyor’s to the mines during the shift.( was a good friend indeed).
