Randell E. Giles December 5, 1939 - June 26, 2021

Giles, Randell – Passed peacefully away at Dr. Albert O’Mahony Manor, Clarenville on Saturday, June 26, 2021, Randell Giles of Swift Current, age 81 years.  Predeceased by his wife Edna, parents Wilson and Lillian; brothers Eric and Earl; sister Louise.  Left with fond and loving memories his children Craig (Debbie), Everett (Jeannie), Lisa (Glenn), Lorraine (Greg) and Dwayne (Lori); grandchildren Chad (Keri), Tyler, Matthew, Amanda, Melissa (Brayden), Justin (Charmaine), Miranda, Megan, Tamara (Jarid), Taylor and Dawson; great grandchildren Konnor, Kayson, Adelane, Laura, Riley and Avery; sisters Netha (Ron), Sandra (Keith), Carol (Wayne), Jeanette (Tom) and Lorraine (Gord); brother Perry; and a large circle of family and friends.  Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville on Tuesday, June 29 from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, June 30 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. By invitation only.  Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at the Pentecostal Church, Swift Current by invitation only with interment at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Swift Current.  Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in his memory to the Pentecostal Cemetery Fund, Swift Current.

    Sorry for your loss of your father ( Grandpa) Dwayne, Lori and kids! So glad you had the last years to make some more memories out in Swift Currant! Sure enjoyed him at the lake in Saskatchewan that summer! Hugs to you all

    Dwayne, Lori ,Taylor, Dawson and the rest of the Giles Family I iam sorry for your loss.I got to know Randel for a short time and in that time got to think of him as a father figure. I enjoyed all the time I got to spend with him he will be deeply missed.

    So sad to hear of Randells passing. Spent a lot of time at his house growing up where I was such good friends with his boys. We had a lot of fun together. Randell was a very hard worker. I’ve worked with companies from time to time down through the years and many people I met knew Randell. They said he was a great operator and he loved operating. Now Randell your work days on earth have come to an end. We were so happy a few years ago when you and Edna came to Charlottetown with your camper trailer and we got to spend time together. We had a lot of fun and meals together. Thanks for all you’ve helped me with in my journey in life Randell. Our love and prayers are with all the family at this sad time.

    Condolences to Dwayne and all the Giles family. I had the opportunity to car pool with Randell when we worked at the refinery together prior to his retirement. He always looked forward to the opportunity to get out and enjoy the out doors. He will be missed.

    So sorry to hear of your Randell’s passing. It is hard to realize that so much time has passed and that many of our loved ones have left us.
