DUFFITT, Peter – Passed peacefully away in Clarenville on Sunday, February 23, 2020, Peter Duffitt of Clarenville, aged 60 years. Predeceased by his father Jack.  Left with fond and loving memories his Newfoundland dog Jack; mother Joan; sisters Jeanette Martin (John Snook), St. John’s, Stephanie Merrick, Fort McMurray, AB and Gerri Lynn Vardy, Burlington, ON; brothers Sandy (Margaret), Clarenville, Johnny (Irene), Grand Prairie, AB and Ralph (Geraldine), Clarenville; nieces and nephews Cassandra, Jackie, Alisa, Alexis, Matthew, Christopher, Kylie, Jamie, Jordan, Trinity and Sierra; Uncle Gerald, Aunt Roz and Aunt Winnie Strong; and a large circle of family and friends.  Visitation at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 from 7-9 p.m.  Memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Clarenville with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Burgoynes Cove.  In his memory flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to Clarenville Area SPCA.
