Nicholas Donald Baker September 21, 1945 - August 9, 2021

Passed peacefully away on Monday, August 9, 2021 at the Dr. Albert O’Mahony Manor, Nick Baker of Sunnyside aged 75 years.  Predeceased by his wife Wendy, parents John and Mary Baker, sister Julia Avery and brother in law Ches Avery.  Left with fond and loving memories his children Andrea of Dartmouth, NS, Annette (Dermot) Sunnyside, Adrian (Taryn) of St. John’s ; four granddaughters Emily and Erin of Dartmouth, NS,  Isla and Ruby of St. John’s; one great grandson Tyler of Torbay; sisters Louise (Dave), and Pearl of Goose Bay, Sadie (Bill), Sylvia (Phil) of Goobies, Eileen (Mike), of Goose Bay; brothers Bob (Sylvia) of Yarmouth, NS and Ford (Laurie) of Jasper, ON as well as a large circle of family and friends.  Resting at the United Church, Sunnyside.  Visitation Wednesday, August 11 6-9 p.m., Thursday, August 12, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 2 P.M. from the United Church, Sunnyside with interment to follow at the United Cemetery, Sunnyside.  In his memory donations may be made to the Lions Max Simms Memorial Camp.  Due to Covid restrictions please contact Annette at 427-4140 if you wish to attend the funeral.
