Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Center in St. John’s on August 18, 2023 Naomi Seward of Gooseberry Cove in her 76th year. Predeceased by her parents, Benjamin and Amelia Marsh; brothers, Eugene and Clarence; son-in-law Fred Rideout. Left with fond and loving memories her husband Sterling Seward of 55 years. Her children, Cathy (Grayson) Layden of Newtown, Cherie (Jerome) Drover of Kilbride, Mitzi (Sheldon) Stringer of Bonavista, Benjamin (Kim) Seward of Conception Bay South, Simeon Seward of Hodge’s Cove; grandchildren, Terrence (Desiree) Smith, Joey Smith, Brady Stringer, Hannah Stringer, Cameron Drover, Tiana Seward, Remi Seward, Trinity Seward, great grandchildren, Bella Smith, Greyson Smith, Fallon Smith, Jackson Smith; sisters, Shirley (Kerry) Penney of Hants Harbour, Ruby (Clarence) Parsons of Indian Bay, Arleen (Tony) Carew of Paradise, Cynthia (Terry) Taylor of Jacksons Arm; and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Little Heart’s Ease, Sunday, August 20 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral service to take place on Monday, August 21, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. from the United Church in Little Heart’s Ease. Interment to follow at the United Cemetery, Southport. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to, the GBS Recreation Committee, the 50+ Club in Hillview, or the South West Arm Lions Club.
Funeral service to take place on Monday, August 21, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. from the United Church in Little Heart’s Ease.
