Muriel Rodway July 11, 1941 - February 16, 2025

Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Sunday, February 16, 2025, Muriel Rodway of Clarenville, aged 83 years.  Predeceased by her husband Hubert Rodway; parents Max and Muriel Whelan and brother Lawrence (Laurie).

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her sister Marion (Roy); daughters Carolyn (Robert) and Susan (Alfredo); son Keith (Kelly), granddaughters Leanne, Alyssa and Miranda; grandson Jordan (Amber); great grandchildren Spencer and Scarlett; special friends Gord and Faye; and a loving circle of friends and family.

Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville.  Visitation on Thursday, February 20 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2025 at Fewer’s Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at Pleasant Street Cemetery, Clarenville.  No flowers by request.  Donations in her memory may be made to Dr. G B Cross Hospital Foundation.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the Doctors, Nurses and staff at G B Cross for their care and support.

    Marion, Keith and Families, So sad to hear of Muriel’s passing. Our condolences to all. She was a happy person who devoted herself to family and we saw this during a visit in ‘’23 when she warmly welcomed us to her home in spite of failing health. Remembering summer visits to Topsail with the Whelan’s, Watson’s and grandparents. She will be missed.
