I didn’t know my uncle Max well and only recall meeting him twice in my life. Once at my grandmother Susie’s funeral and subsequently at my father Clayton’s funeral. What I did experience though was a very gentle and kind man and somebody I was happy to have met. I’m sorry to hear of his passing and wish his family well during this time.

    Michelle, Sharon, Byron and family,
I am so saddened to hear of Max’s passing. I feel honoured to have had him in my life even if it was for a short period of time. He was a sweet and gentle man, and his smile lit up my heart; I always looked forward to visits. Last time I was with him we had a great little dance and I am very grateful for that moment.
Thinking of you all during this challenging time.
    Rest easy, Max!

To Max’s family, Byron, Sharon and Michelle. We will miss Max’s smile in the mornings, and his handsome face. He always got a kick out of me calling him poppy, but to us he embodied all the great qualities that you love in a grandfather. Such a gentle and kind soul he was! We are sending love and prayers to you all during this time! From the girls on 2East <3
