Mabel West October 9, 1926 - December 12, 2021

Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Sunday, December 12, 2021, Mabel West of Clarenville, age 95 years.  Predeceased by husband Wilbert West and daughter Marie (Ian) Best.  Left with fond and loving memories her children Thomas West (Valerie) and Betty Brake (Derrick); grandchildren Scott West (Stephanie), Christopher Brake, Ashley Brake (Kevin King), Jennifer Chiernyk (Paul), Jon Best (Tanya) and Geoffrey Best; great grandchildren Jade, Kovax, Zoey, Zach, Thea, Josie, Cohen, Kaelyn and Cosette; sisters Bea (Joe West), Judy (Les Stanley) and Flo (Ted Wiseman); brothers Bruce Strong (Pauline) and Bernard Strong; and a large circle of family and friends.  Visitations will take place on Thursday, December 16 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, December 17 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Memorial Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Memorial United Church, Clarenville with interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, Church Hill, Clarenville.  In her memory flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to Memorial United Church, Clarenville or a charity of ones choice.  Special thanks to all her home care workers who treated her with nothing only love and respect.
