It is with great sadness that we the family of Lucas Winsor announce his passing. Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 in Arnold’s Cove, NL at the age of 35 years. Lucas enjoyed riding his Ebike, hiking the local trails and beaches. One of his favorite pass times was playing video games most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Predeceased by his grand parents Job and Betty Winsor; Aunt Roxanne Butt-Adams. Left with fond and loving memories his parents, Jerry and Michelle Winsor; grandparents, Norman and Earla Butt; sisters, Jessica and Amanda; Chewie the dog; a large number of aunts, uncle, and cousins, as well as a large circle of family and friends. Fewer’s Funeral Home in Clarenville on Monday, September 1, 2025 from 2-4 P.M and Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 10-12 P.M. Funeral service to take place from Fewer’s Memorial Chapel in Clarenville Tuesday, September 2, 2025 @ 2:00 P.M. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Epilepsy Foundation Newfoundland Chapter.

I am shocked beyond words to hear this news. Christine and I are so sorry to hear of Lucas’ passing; it must seem both devastating and surreal. I have fond remembrances of the quiet young man in our cadet corps, who wouldn’t say boo to anyone, yet had a ready smile, especially when someone told a good joke, or if Jessica got in trouble.
