Louise Rodrique February 7, 2021

Louise Sara Clarabel Rodrigue (nee Drodge), pictured with her granddaughter, passed away on February 7, 2021 in Cornwall, Ontario. She was 86 years of age, she will be fondly remembered by family and many, many friends. Louise was a fixture in the local church communities, playing for services, weddings, and funerals. Louise loved to travel and being in the mist of friends, family and sometimes strangers. Louise was fearless in life.

Sadly, she was predeceased by her husband Gilbert (Rod), her parents Albert and Florence Drodge, grandson Jacob(Elizabeth)brothers Bram(Dorothy), Roy (Melvie), Ralph (Audrey) and Albert (Christina), sisters Cassandra (Alfred) Drodge and Muriel (Eric) Stringer, nieces and nephews, all of which she never stopped loving, forgot or always longed for.  She leaves to mourn her son Paul (Manon), grandson Samuel(Samantha), granddaughter Alexane (Matt Desjarlais), great-grandchildren Zachary and Eleanor, her sister and brother-in-law Carol and Walter Williams and sister-in-law Audrey Drodge along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will take place at 2 pm on September 25th, 2021 at the United Church in Little Heart’s Ease.

    I only wish I could be there with you right now. Aunt Louise was so loved by me my entire life. I’ll always remember the family gatherings, the stories, the songs and the laughs. I’ll fondly remember her for the rest of my days. Sending so many hugs and love your way!

    I am so sorry to hear of Louise’s passing. I met her while working at No Frills a few years ago and always had a smile, story for me and always mad me laugh. When she would come to the Manor for Sunday services we would always find a spot to have a yarn. She will always be remembered.

    I have know Louise a long time. Worked with her at the co-op store. When I first started to work..she took me under her wing. She played for my dad funeral.. A very special person. I may have not been in touch in later years but I have fond memories of her. my condolences to the family
