Condolences

Passed peacefully away at the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home, St. John’s on Friday, August 4, 2023, Loretta Gosse of St. John’s, age 86 years. Predeceased by her parents Cecil and Lucinda (Ollie) Vey; husband Hedley Gosse; sisters Aneta Smith and Marion Morris. Left with fond and loving memories her daughter Gail Gosse; granddaughter Lori (Brandon); brother Hedley Vey (Barbara); and a circle of family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

To the Gosse family; I am so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful family member Loretta Gosse. Loretta was always smiling when I seen her, and I know she will continue to smile down on her family. May she rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of Aunt Loretta’s passing. I have many fond memories of visits with her over the years. Countless tales spun over cups of tea & eyes filled with tears from hours of laughter. Sending much love to Gail & Lori… she was an amazing lady, a true gem ❤️

Hello Gail, Lori and family, I was shocked when I opened fb this morning and read the obituary for your mom! Sending my sincere condolences to you and the family. I have many fond memories of your mom and her smile! Especially when us kids would pile into her store from school during recross time . She kept smiling and was patient and kind to us kids! Praying the Lord cover you and bless you at this sad time!
