It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Karl (Karoly) Dalanyi of Port Rexton, Newfoundland, on Monday, September 8, 2025, at the age of 61 years.
Karl was predeceased by his loving parents, Joseph and Winnifred Dalanyi.
He will be forever remembered and deeply missed by his partner, Sharon; his children Kayla (Samuel), Alicia (Thomas), Jenna (Graham), and Dusten (Summer); and his cherished grandchildren, Kayden and Maira, whom he loved more than anything in the world. Karl also leaves behind his brother, Richard (June), along with a large circle of extended family and friends who will hold his memory close to their hearts.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Karl’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honour his memory and share in the love he gave so freely.
Karl’s kindness, humour, and devotion to his beloved Montreal Canadiens will never be forgotten.
