April 13, 2023 at 10:59 amSo saddened to hear of Juanita’s passing. She was a wonderful person and a great teacher. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her at Clarenville Primary. I especially enjoyed our talks after school was finished for the day. She was a hard worker and gave her all in everything she did. Her family were her world and her pride and joy. My deepest condolences to Lloyd and her children and grandchildren.

She was a dedicated, teacher who knew her stuff, and one who would gladly share her expertise. She always had the best interests of her students at heart. Juanita was kind, gentle and unassuming and a whole lot of fun to be sure! Wonderful memories of teaching with her. Please accept my heartfelt condolences to you all. Sincerely, Michelle Hughes

April 15, 2023 at 7:58 amLloyd, Melanie and Matthew I was deeply saddened to hear this news. Juanita was a wonderful friend and colleague during my time at Clarenville Primary. She taught me so much! She was so dedicated to her profession, I wonder how many little souls she taught to read? We ran into to each other before Christmas at Chapters , we were both looking for a children’s book…we laughed at that, nothing had changed. She taught me not to sweat the small stuff and I credit “it is what it is” to her. Juanita loved her family beyond measure. We send our deepest condolences to her family and friends. Thinking of you all, Jan and Tom.
