Passed peacefully away at the Bonavista Hospital in Bonavista on Monday, November 24, 2025 Joan Fry of Charleston aged 78 years. Predeceased by her parents, Frank and Edith Fry; husband, David Fry; daughter, Julia; son-in-law, Terry; brother, Eric. Left with fond and loving memories her son, Frank (Valerie); grandson, Kyle (Amanda); granddaughter, Alex; sisters, Dee (Jim), Mary, Donna (Claude), Louise (Felix); brother, James (Daphne), Albert (Bonnie), Elvis; and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at the Anglican Church in Charleston on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 from 7-9 P.M. Funeral service to take place from the Anglican Church in Charleston Thursday, November 27, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Charleston. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Shirley’s Haven, Catalina. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Shirley’s Haven for their compassion over the last year, while she was a resident.
