Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in St. John’s, on Monday, March 17, 2025 Jeff Haynes of Clarenville. Predeceased by his parents, Joe and Trixie Haynes; father-in-law, Philip Lethbridge; wife, Eleanor; niece, Allison Baker. Left with fond and loving memories his son, Paul Haynes Jr., mother-in-law Eileen (Heber) Lethbridge; sisters, Donna (Lew) Hounsell, Brenda (Dennis) Baker, Pamela (Rick) Lethbridge; brothers, Rex (Judy) Haynes, Joseph Haynes Jr. (Frank), Kevin (Kathleen) Haynes, Christopher (Ellen) Haynes, Barry (Judy) Haynes; and a large circle of family and friends. As per his wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Jeff was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed sports, he loved watching the Caribous play hockey. He would never turn down a game of crib. He was known for his fun wit and humour.
