Passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, Irene Hobbs of Bunyan’s Cove, age 74 years.
Predeceased by her parents Samuel and Hannah Babstock; sisters Adelaide and Louise; parents-in-law Andrew and Clarice Hobbs.
Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Hubert of 56 years; son Glenn (Paula); grandchildren Andrew (Renee) and Hannah (Greg); great grandchildren Lilly, Lilah, Luke and Henry; sisters Olive (late Maxwell Feltham) and Amy (late John Beckford); brothers Raymond Babstock (late Beryl) and Glen (Heather); numerous nieces, nephews, and a large circle of extended family and friends.
Resting at the Anglican Church in Bunyan’s Cove. Visitation on Friday, April 11 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, April 12, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2025 at the Anglican Church, Bunyan’s Cove with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Bunyan’s Cove. In her memory flowers are gratefully accepted.
