Ida Madeline Hynes January 20, 1948 - February 14, 2022

Passed peacefully away at the G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville on February 14, 2022,  Ida Madeline Hynes of Bunyan’s Cove, aged 74 years.  Predeceased by her husband George Robert Hynes, parents Liol and Mary Anna Hobbs, father in law James Hynes.  Left with fond and loving memories her children,  Keith, Jackie Hanlon (Jimmy), Angela Beason (Wm Bill), Draper, Jerome;  grandchildren, Gavin, Shelia, Casandra, Annah, Jasmine, Georgia; Great Grandson, Lucas; sisters, Rita, Beatrice (Terry); brothers, Manuel (Eliza), Clayton (Louise), Sterling (Madge), Robert (Annette); and a large circle of family and friends.  Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home Lethbridge, Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Due to COVID protocols vax pass will be required for the visitation.  If you would like to make an appointment for visitation please contact Sterling by calling 766-0522.  There will be a private family service and interment to follow.

    My deepest condolences to the Hynes family .She was some one that was always in some part of my life back home either threw work or working for her . Always use to drop in when walking by her place , game of cards a mug of coffee . To Angela , Keith , Draper and Jerome my spirit is with you prayers to the Creator , that you will find comfort at this time of lost . Keep in mind that they are always with you they never leave .

Ida was a very nice lady I remember her as growing up just down the road from where I grew up she fought a long hard battle but at least now she is over all her suffering and is at home with the lord and rest of her love one May her wonderful memories of her keep you in days to come r I p my dear friend gone but never forgotten rest easy now your trails are over god bless

    My heart is broken as God saw it was time, you suffered enough and he said it’s over. Ida and I met and I got to know her by spending time listening to her share with me about her life and her love for her predeceased husband “Robert” her family and friends especially her children and grandchildren .Jerome she always worried about you, please take care of yourself and always remember she loved you dearly. Forever missed and loved.🙏🏼
    Thoughts and prayers are with you all during this very difficult time and I pray that the God of comfort will sustain you in the days ahead.
