Arthur George Holloway March 16, 1943 - August 21, 2021

“Your wings were ready but our hearts were not….”

Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, on Saturday, August 21, Arthur George Holloway of Clarenville, age 78 years. Predeceased by his parents, Walter & Flora Holloway; grandson Aaron; brothers Alex and Mac; sisters Josie and Doreen; nephews Christoper & Jim; and niece Eleanor. Also, brothers-in-law Bob, Hubert, Phil & Jack; sisters-in-law Thelma & Rose; parents-in-law Sadie & Allan Barrett. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 51 years, Evelyn, son Dean (Sowon) of Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s, Daughter Juanisa (Randy) of Enfield, NH, USA. Beloved grandchildren Tyler, Ryan, Cameron, Justin & Lindsay. Also mourning are brothers and sisters Boyd (Millie) of Clarenville, Eileen (Heber) of Random Island, Maisie (Earle) of Ridgetown, ON, Velma (Eldon) of Terra Nova and Linda of Clarenville; brothers and sisters-in-law Gerry, Melvin, Dorothy (Larry), Marion (Bill), Audrey, and Evangeline. Finally, many nieces, nephews and cousins plus a large circle of friends. Cremation has taken place, no visitation. Interment at the Interdenominational Cemetery, Clarenville, Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 2 p.m. family and friends are welcome to attend the cemetery for the service. Donations may be made to the Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice.

Interment at the Interdenominational Cemetery, Clarenville, Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 2 p.m. family and friends are welcome to attend the cemetery for the service.
