Glenis Belle Greening October 17, 1937 - February 15, 2022

Passed peacefully away at her home in Clarenville on February 15, 2022, Glenis Greening nee Adams of Milton aged 84 years.  Predeceased by her one true love, Ray; parents Chesley and Pearl Adams; adopted brother Charlie Clouter; parents  in law Edward and Ida Greening; a number of special friends and family and her furry companion of many years, Gussie her cat.  Left with fond and loving memories her children; Gord (Dot) and Pat (Larry);  grandchildren Michael Greening (Nicole) and Andrew Critch (Anjali); great grandchildren Jacob and Claire;  and a wide range of wonderful friends and family that she dearly loved and appreciated.  We were always comforted by the attention and loyalty of those people as she chose to live alone for 30 years, both at home and in “Comfort Cove” Terra Nova where she spent every summer. She cherished each and every one of you and in recent months, became very fond of her amazing caregiver and friend, Maribeth.  Thank you all for being a part of her life’s journey.  Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home Clarenville. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M.   Funeral to take place from Fewer’s Memorial Chapel in Clarenville on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. Interment to follow at the Milton – George’s Brook Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Milton-Geroge’s Brook Cemetery Maintenance Fund.  In keeping with Covid regulations vaxx pass will be required for both the visitation and funeral service.  If you would like to attend the visitation or funeral please contact Larry at (709) 427-8975.

So sorry to hear of Glenis passing. While in Terra Nova we would always drop in to see her. The first time I met Glenis it was 40 + years ago and she was as good a person as she was 2 years ago. She was always a sweet heart. Our 2 boys would enjoy going to get place for Gus’s birthday on July 2. She would always wave ti the boys as they would be driving down the river by her cabin.
Honey you will certainly be missed. RIP my darling. Barry,GailJordonand Nick.

Gord, Patty and your entire familes – sincere condolences from Sadie and I. Milton, and Terra Nova, has lost an angel for sure. Ever since I was a small boy visiting Milton, I have so very many fond memories of your mom – both in Milton and also in Terra Nova. Such a sweet lady. As sincere and witty as anybody ever was. You are now laughing with your Ray once again, Glenis. RIP Dear Lady . . .

Gord and Pat, I just recently heard of your mother’s passing. I have fond memories of her, when as a child, I would visit your house in Milton, when you were babies. She was always good fun and kind. I spoke to her in January, for the first time in a few years, and we had a lovely chat! Cherish the memories.
      Sending love and sympathy,
