Gladys Loretta Keats August 10, 1946 - December 13, 2025

Passed peacefully away at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion in Carbonear on Saturday, December 13, 2025, Gladys Loretta Keats of Bunyans Cove, age 79 years.

Predeceased by parents William and Evelyn Murphy; brother Hubert Murphy; sister-in-law Lily Murphy and parents-in-law Albert and Mary Keats.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband Melvin of 60 years; children Sylvia (Roger), Jackie (Dave) and Brad (Wanda); grandchildren Cindy (Shane), Chris (Ally) and Jenna; great grandson Reid; brother Anthony (Madonna); nieces and nephews Debbie, Loretta, Michael and Ronnie and their families.  She also leaves to mourn her extended family and friends.

Resting at the Salvation Army Islandview Citadel, Musgravetown on Monday, December 15 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at the Islandview Citadel, Musgravetown with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Musgravetown.

Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army Memorial Fund, Musgravetown.

The family would like to especially thank the staff at the Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion for the care given to our mother during her stay there.

Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at the Islandview Citadel, Musgravetown with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Musgravetown.
