It is with great sadness that we the parents, Selma and Leonard Martin and brother Grant announce the passing of our son and brother Garrett of Sunnyside, age 30. Predeceased by his grandmother Cynthia Parsons and grandfather Aaron Parsons. Always surrounded by a large circle of family and friends and a very supportive community. As per his wishes cremation will take place. Visitation on Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 7-9 P.M. from the Anglican Church, Sunnyside. Celebration of life will take place on Friday, August 29, 2025 @ 2:00 P.M. from the Anglican Church, Sunnyside. Private interment will take place. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family. Forever missed by his cat Chuck and the family dog Duncan and a large circle of family and friends.

I was so sorry to hear of Garrett’s passing. I’ve nothing but sweet memories of him and Morgan as little boys rolling through my head.
He had endured so much in his short life, but he certainly made the best of the life he had and that’s more than I can say for some of us.
Hard as it is, take comfort in the fact that he will no more be in pain or discomfort.
