Florence Burt October 8, 1928 - May 22, 2020

Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville on Friday, May 22, 2020 Florence Burt of Ivany’s Cove aged 91 years. Predeceased by her parents William and Jamina Avery; sons Mervin and Lloyd; sisters Irene Lush, Jane Randell; brothers Stanley and Clyde Avery; grandson Wayne Parsons. Left with fond and loving memories her husband Neil of 68 years; daughters Rowena (Calvin), Ruby (Robert), Glenys (Glen); grandchildren Kevin, Jody, Jackie, Trevor, Gary, Jamie, Nicole, Leanne, Ashley, step granddaughter Ashley; great grandchildren Chantal, Emma, Brody, Jessica, Alicia, Taylor, Brittany, Logan, Quinn, Kyleigh, Ashton, Carter, Jacob, Marcus, Jesse, Jeremy, Joey, Leah, Parker; great great grandchildren Carter, Olivia, Savannah, Adriana,  Gabby; sisters Mildred Thompson, Margaret Short, Lily Little; brother Gordon Avery (Stella) and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville.  Due to COVID 19, there will be a private family service at United Cemetery, Hillview. The family would like to extend a special Thanks to her homecare workers.

A Private Cemetery Service will take place on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at United Cemetery, Hillview.
