PENNEY, Everett Richard
September 24, 1937 – December 28, 2020
Everett Penney aged 83 years, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side, at the Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, after a short battle with cancer.
Predeceased by his parents Richard (Dick) and Sarah (Sadie). Left with fond and loving memories his wife Ethel of 59 years; son Barry; favourite daughter-in-law Lisa; 2 grandchildren of whom he was so very proud, Sarah and Aidan; and a very large circle of close friends and family.
Special thank you to Ann Russell for always being there and for all you do.
Everett was a very active member of his community, including many hours volunteering with the Legion, Clarenville Branch 27, Telephone Pioneers, and many other organizations.
Cremation has been arranged and a funeral service will take place at a later date.
In Everett’s memory, in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Epilepsy-Newfoundland-and-Labrador, or a charity of your choice.
