Funeral service will take place at Heritage United Church, Musgravetown, on Monday, July 24, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery. Passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, Thursday, February 24, 2022, Betty Parsons, aged 82 years. Predeceased by husband, Wilfred Parsons, parents, John and Josephine Briffett. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, daughters, Debbie Ash (St. John’s), and Donna, (John) Peddle, Grand Falls Windsor; sons: David (Cherri) Parsons of Grande Prairie, AB, Don (Kelly Snow) Parsons of Clarenville, NL, and Gerard (Rose) Kelly of Edmonton, AB; sister May (Ray, predeceased) Babstock; brother, Robert (Judy) Briffett, both of Glovertown; 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a large circle of family and friends.
The family would like to thank all the Doctors and Nurses that took special care of Mom and the family during our 3 week stay at James Payton Memorial Hospital. There will always be a special place for you in our hearts.
