Elizabeth “Betty” Lane November 6, 1932 - August 23, 2022

Passed peacefully away at the Dr. Albert O’Mahony Manor in Clarenville on August 23, 2022, Betty Elizabeth Lane of Portland aged 89 years. Predeceased by her parents John and Elsie Avery; her husband Fred Lane; brother Eric Avery and her sister Forrie (Wilfred) Green.  Left with fond and loving memories her daughter Lelia (Rex) Loveless and Larry (Juanita) Lane; grandchildren Karen, Tracy, Paul, Kandy, Scott; a number of great grandchildren; brothers, Harvey (Ivy), Clarence (Patsy), Russell (Annie), Garfield (Margaret); and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home Lethbridge Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral service to take place Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. from the Salvation Army Citadel in Musgravetown with interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery.  Due to COVID regulations masks will be required for the visitations and funeral services however, all are welcome to come along to the visitation and or the funeral service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Salvation Army, Musgravetown.
