Eleanor Ann (Lethbridge) Haynes passed away peacefully on July 27, 2020 at the age of 59 years. A resident of Harrietsfield, Nova Scotia; formerly of Clarenville. Predeceased by her father Philip Lethbridge; brother Christopher in 1968; father in law Joe Haynes. Left to mourn her devoted husband Jeff and their loving son Paul. Eleanor also leaves behind her devoted sister Marlene (Owen); mother Eileen (Heber); sisters Tina (Dean), Lori (Jerry), Carla (Jamie); brothers Sandy (Shirley), Danny (Cathy); Jeff’s 8 brothers and sisters and their families; mother in law Trixie Haynes (who has since passed away) and many nieces and nephews too numerous to mention who will certainly remember her fondly. Our hearts are full of memories of Eleanor now and she will always be remembered and loved as strong, determined and caring. Eleanor fought a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. However, her many friends, nieces and nephews have fond memories of her playing Mrs. Claus to Jeff’s Santa. She loved a good hockey game and was a whiz at flower arrangements. Her many In-laws speak fondly of how close and caring she always was to her husband Jeff. He will, as the saying goes, “be lost without her”. Jeff and Paul took such good care of Eleanor and now they will take care of each other. A visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 12 noon – 2 PM at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville. (A Memorial Service will take place after the visitation). A Memorial Service will be 2 PM on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Fewer’s Memorial Chapel, Clarenville.
