GILL, Eddie Arnold – Passed away suddenly at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Sunday, March 7, 2021, Eddie Gill of Bloomfield, aged 67 years. Predeceased by his father William, mother Carmen; sister Gloria; brothers Eugene, David and Leslie. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Wendy of 45 years; children Eddy (Dawn Heaton) and Crystal (Lance Russell), both of Musgravetown; grandchildren Justin, Brandon, Shawnna, Austin, Victoria, Tyler, Brooke, Trinity and Cassidy; great grandchildren Serenity, Serena and Emerson; sister Flora Anthony (Mervin), Peterborough, ON; brothers Harold (Marie), Wiarton, ON, Arthur (Margaret), Dobbington, ON, Lloyd (Barbara), Botwood, NL, Donald (Wavey), Brampton, ON, William (Shirley), Oshawa, ON and George, Dobbington, ON; and a large circle of family and friends. Cremation has take place. Due to Covid restrictions a celebration of life will take place at a later date.

We cannot imagine the loss you are experiencing as you try to process Eddie’s sudden passing. May the many fond memories you have of him be a source of great comfort during these very difficult days. Your home was always a place where everyone was welcomed with arms opened wide, especially those in need. Eddie’s engaging personality and warm smile will be missed but never forgotten. Praying that God will be your peace.

Dear Wendy and family and extended family.
I was so sorry to hear of Eddie’s passing. We have known both of you for quite some time and knew he was a fun loving guy in spite of all his health issues. I have some idea how you are feeling having suffered two heavy losses myself, 4 years ago, just 7 months apart and they are still missed dearly, but we have to lean on the everlasting arms of Jesus during these times and we have a precious hope beyond the grave of that Glad Reunion Day and there will be not parting there.
May God give you strength at this time.

I was so sorry to hear of his passing. I only met him a few times but fell in love with him immediately.( Even though he made fun of my Canadiens.)
He was a godsend to my father while in hospital for weeks and I’d like to think dad was a godsend to him as well.
It was a blessing to have met him.

Thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Wendy, Eddy, Crystal and family. Uncle Ed’s laughter, joy and warm personality will be missed but certainly not forgotten. Uncle Ed’s playful and humorous personality was always there to share a joke or funny story, and there were so many laughs shared over the years. Uncle Ed was a big part in making sure I was a leafs fan, and I fondly remember going to jays and leafs games with uncle Ed. There are so many great memories, and I hope that you’re able to hold onto those over these difficult times. Until we meet again, lots of Love and Hugs from Don, Rachel, Ava, and Stella.
