Passed peacefully away at the G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville, on November 9, 2021, Douglas Linthorne of Clarenville aged 78 years. Predeceased by his parents Cyril and Kathleen Linthorne; and brother Raymond. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Marie of 50 years; children Krista (Tom) Brown; grandson Matthew; sister Joyce; sister in law Sharon; nieces and nephew Anne, Michael and Catherine; and a large circle of family and friends. Cremation to take place. Visitation at Fewer’s Funeral Home in Clarenville Friday, November 12, 2021 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Memorial service will take place from Memorial United Church, Clarenville at 2 PM on Saturday, November 13, 2021 with interment at Clarenville Interdenominational Cemetery. In his memory donations may be made to The Newfoundland and Labrador Lung Association.
