Dear Linda and Family and Doug’s Siblings and Families. Ann and I learned of the passing of Doug with sorrow. We send our deepest condolences and love to you all. We have many great memories of spending time with you in Clarenville and at the Cabin on Terra Nova Lake in the eighties. Our three Children thought the World of Doug and he would take them on fishing trips, boat rides and trips up and down the beach on his Big Red. Hooking my first Salmon down on the ” Bench ” on Terra Nova River under his watchful eye, is a memory to this day. As you celebrate a life well lived, you will be all in our thoughts and prayers. To borrow a line from the Great Bobby Burns on the Death of his friend.” If there is another World he lives in bliss, if there is not he made the best of this ”.
