Dorothy Yetman October 3, 1940 - June 3, 2025

Beloved by God, Dorothy Louise Yetman went to be with her creator. Predeceased by daughter Gail Elizabeth Williams, parents Blanche and Clar Eastman, brothers George, Warren and Clarence Eastman.

Left to mourn is loving husband of 64 years Robert, daughter Rev. Pam Trondson (Arne), daughter Kimberly Yetman Dawson (Todd) honorary daughter Sharon Maloney (Terry) son-in law Clint (Lori) and grandchildren Aaron and Matthias, Ryan (Elyse) and Meghan, Shannon (Kyle) and Jordan (Elysia) and their father Dave Dawson. Dorothy had wonderful facetimes with her only great grandson Henry and was very sad she didn’t get to meet him.

Dorothy was born in Grandfalls and lived in the Toronto area, Beaverton, Southern Bay and Clarenville. She enjoyed her work at PPG where she was for 18 years. She was kind, fun loving and was a person of deep faith.

Dorothy enjoyed camping, reading, music and card playing/winning. She was extremely witty, loved jokes and liked to put people at ease. She will be greatly missed as she was dearly loved by her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers Dorothy has requested donations be made to her good friend in Haiti, Anslot Pierre and family by going to this link https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-anslot-family-in-haiti?_gl=1*aqkxz3*_up*MQ..*_gs*MQ..&gclid=Cj0KCQjwuvrBBhDcARIsAKRrkjeRsHYIOF-ERGkhqX67LxcYGl3Lgs_71eMjTQi3LFfdmP1Iechrv2AaAt1FEALw_wcB or email transfer to [email protected] with Memory of Dorothy in message.

Bob, Kim and Pam – We don’t have to tell you what she meant to us both and how she will missed. Our Christmas will never be the same without her. We spent 13 out of 14 Christmases since we have lived in NL with the two of them. Her request that we be there for her final moments was a very touching honour for us to support you and Dorothy. Love you All!

Dot was a terrific partner to play cards with. Never failed to try for “30 for 60” every time she played 120s. We, the 135 members of the 50+ Club, will fondly remember Dot forever.
