Donald Greening January 15, 1932 - September 4, 2024

Passed away peacefully at Carbonear Long Term Care facility on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, Donald Greening of Musgravetown, age 92 years.  Predeceased by his wife Daisy.  Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children Mack (Geraldine) and Marilyn; grandchildren Steven (Tammy) and Shane (Sheri); great grandchildren Cody and Jayden; sister Diane Hammel and a large circle of family and friends.  Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Lethbridge.  Visitation 7-9 p.m. Friday, September 6 and Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Heritage United Church, Musgravetown with cremation to follow.  Burial to take place at a later date.

    So sadden to hear of the passing of your dear Father. I cared for him during his time on 1South at the Carbonear Longterm Facility. He was such a gentle sweet soul who loved to carry on and make us smile. Take comfort in the beautiful memories you have, they will help you all navigate through the difficult days ahead.     Mack and Geraldine and family. I’m so sorry for your loss. I only met uncle Don once but loved him right away. My mother was his sister Daphne.

    To the Greening Family, we were sad to hear of Don’s passing. Our prayers are with you during this very sad time.
    We exchanged visits with Don & Daisy over the years we had many hands of cards, meals & sing songs.

    I was saddened today to see of Don’s passing. Don and his family meant a great deal to me when I was growing up in Musgravetown. To this day Mack holds a special place in my heart. (I still remember that little red wagon) My heartfelt condolences to Mack and his family. Lily

    Mack, Marilyn and family, so sorry to hear of Don’s passing. I knew Don quite well, living close by in Musgravetown. He was very entertaining with his music. You will have lots of memories of him for sure.
