I have such fond memories of uncle Clyde. He always had a welcoming smile and kind words. He gave everyone the benefit of the doubt, always encouraging us to do our best. He, with aunt Rowena, would take me to church and taught, by example, devotion to God and to duty. I always admired his caring and loving approach to his brother, Ray and his sister (my nan).
My sincere condolences to aunt Rowena, Nicole and Gillian. ❤️🙏

Rowena and family… Please accept my sincere condolences on Clyde’s passing. Although we didn’t see much of each other in recent years, I always considered him a good friend. He was the personification of patience and Kindness as I’m sure many of his former students could testify. Thinking of you at this sad time and hoping that the many wonderful memories will help bring you solace and comfort in the days and years ahead.

Rowena, Nicole, Gillian and all your family,

We are so sorry to hear of Clyde’s passing. Our memories of him will be forever in our hearts. Clyde was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and a true friend. I am so happy I was honored to sit at the same table during the Stacey reunion last July. Clyde was always in good spirits, heartwarming smile, loved stories, even my (Fred’s) craziness, and always gave a warm welcome to anyone who visited.

Not only will you miss him as a husband and father, and grandfather, but the whole community was touched by his dedicated life, and commitment to his family and church. He lived his faith and served with total commitment and dedication. Just imagine all the students who were impacted by his example.

May he Rest In Peace and the good Lord bring comfort to your hearts. Sorry we can’t be with you to celebrate his life.

    Love
Cousin Fred (teddy bear) and Gloria Stacey
